3.    Qualification and experience  :      1.      Master Foreign Going Certificate holder with

a)          6 months’ experience as Chief Officer of

    Foreign Going vessel  OR

b)          2 years’ experience as Dredger Master OR

c)          6 years’ sea service in the executive Branch of

                                                                      Indian Navy in the Rank of Lt. Commander/

          Commander 

4.  Age limit                                   :              40 years ( Relaxable as per Govt. rules)

             Applicants should submit  complete Bio-data along with attested copies of the documents to prove age, qualification, experience, caste, etc.  Those who are employed shall forward  the applications through proper channel. The Port reserves the right to short-list applicants for interview based on appropriate criteria.

CHIEF MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The Kerala State Electricity Board has filed a petition to introduce power restrictions with consumers including all licensees purchasing power from KSEB and their consumers. The Commission has admitted the Petition and scheduled a Public Hearing at the Commission's office at Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram at 2.30 p.m. on 31/03/2010. A copy of the pettion is placed in the web site of the Commission (www.erckerala.org). Any objections/ comments from consumers are invited and the same may be filed before the Commission by 31/03/2010. Objections can also be presented before the Commission during the Public Hearing.
