After the implementation of the RTI Act, Cochin Port has received 525 applications and all these applications were disposed off within the time limit. Generally, Cochin Port Trust is receiving applications seeking information on service matters, rules and regulations, orders and circulars regulating the service conditions and other benefit being granted to the employees and co-employees. Training programmes have been conducted to all officers and concerned staffs about various provisions of the RTI Act and its implications.
