         I am extremely happy to note that Cochin Port has taken the lead among the Major Ports in India to implement a total ERP Solution covering all aspects of Port Management & Operations. It is encouraging to note that all Cargo handling & Shipping operations, Real Estate Management, Materials Management, Project Monitoring, Financial Management, H.R. Management, etc. are being done through the ERP Solution on a real time basis. I am sure this will ensure efficiency, transparency, speed and accuracy in all aspects of Port Management. It will definitely help to enhance Port efficiency and productivity in the long run and also facilitate accomplishing the new prestigious projects taken up by Cochin Port.
