    Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Medical Officer for appointment in the Cochin Port Trust Hospital, on contract basis at a consolidated salary of Rs.35000/-per month.  The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year and the selected candidate will not have any claim for regular appointment.

            Qualification                               :        M.B.B.S of any Indian University or     

                                                                           Equivalent qualification recognized by

                                                                           the Indian Medical Council with 3 years

                                                                            practical experience.

                                                                  :        Preference will be given to the

                                                                           candidates with Post graduate diploma.

          Age                                                 :        Maximum 40 years as on 01.08.2010.

3.    Qualification and experience  :      1.      Master Foreign Going Certificate holder with

a)          6 months’ experience as Chief Officer of

    Foreign Going vessel  OR

b)          2 years’ experience as Dredger Master OR

c)          6 years’ sea service in the executive Branch of

                                                                      Indian Navy in the Rank of Lt. Commander/

          Commander 

 

4.  Age limit                                   :              40 years ( Relaxable as per Govt. rules)
